Artist Biography
Anna Kate is a photographer from Madison, WI and has been obsessed with taking pictures since she was a young child. After graduating from Bradley University, she has excelled as a concert photographer. Most recently working on projects with Dropped Among this Crowd Media, Anna has advanced her skills in editorial writing and design. In college, Anna enjoyed working with antique analog cameras that have stood the test of time. She also enjoys making work about time distortion, working with analog film cameras, and creating images with lots of color and vibrancy. Anna’s work has been featured in the Wheels O’ Time Museum in Peoria in association with the Peoria Historical Society. Anna’s most recent show, A Subtle Reminiscence, was displayed in the spring of 2022 at the Peoria Downtown Public Library. Her most recent publications were in the Winter/Spring and Summer/Fall issues of Crooked Conversations by DATC Media.
